Locatient enters the RM Tracking fold

RM Tracking has acquired Locatient, proprietor and developer of NavIQ, a highly advanced GPS tracking software solution.

Fort Collins, CO RM Tracking has acquired Locatient, a leading GPS and GIS software firm and developers of the robust NavIQ solution.

"We have been using NavIQ for a couple of years now, and we have thousands of devices tracking on that software." says Brad Borst of RM Tracking. "This acquisition will enable us to develop the software further and to spread it beyond fleet tracking into other innovative uses."

RM Tracking (available online at http://www.RMTracking.com) is currently integrating new tracking devices with a self-contained power source. It hopes to extend the utility of asset tracking to include the tracking of small containers, personal tracking, and even animal tracking.

"Having the NavIQ technology in house will be a valuable asset to RM Tracking," says Borst. "It will enhance our suite of services, and allow us to offer services and products of the highest quality to our customers."
