Santa Tracked with GPS Tracking System

www.RMTracking.com You can keep the milk in the refrigerator and the cookies warm until the last minute. Santa is using a GPS tracking system on his sleigh so that you will know around what time to expect him come down the chimney tonight.

Tracking Santa is a 50 year old tradition. In 1955, a Sears store in Colorado Springs, Colorado printed an ad with a phone number for kids to call and track Santa. However, the phone number didn’t ring directly through to Santa, but instead, it rang through to a CONAD (Continental Air Defense Command) Commander-in-Chief’s operation hotline. A not so happy Colonel, Henry Shoup, would answer the phone. Eventually he decided to play his part and began looking at radar to tell children when Santa had left the North Pole.

Volunteers have kept the tradition going by spending their personal time to answer emails and phone calls from children around the world. Santa, the leader of innovation, understands the importance of GPS technology. Santa now uses a GPS tracking system instead of radar so that children everywhere can see his every move.

This is very cool stuff. My kids used it to track Santa this Christmas and it really helped them get into the Christmas spirit.
