Tracking an unfaithful spouse can give answers to questions that have been bothering you. Why does he always work so late? Is she really going to a night class? Why does he seem to be acting so suspicious lately? Why does she keep going on trips for work?

Many people are confused by the new technology of GPS trackers and the many different kinds that are now available. They are unsure of the kind of tracker that is right for their specific situation. Let’s break down the two types of vehicle tracking devices: passive and active.

Passive devices record and store information about the vehicle’s movements. These systems tend to track more carefully than active systems, which transmit once every 5 minutes or sometimes longer. A passive vehicle tracking device is also the cheaper option, because it has only the purchase cost and does not require a monthly contract. In order to get the information off of the tracker, the device must be removed from the vehicle and the information can then be downloaded onto a computer for viewing. These systems can only hold a certain amount of information, such as 100 hours of tracking, before they begin to write over old information.

An active tracker may be the best choice for tracking wayward spouses, because it eliminates the complications of having to retrieve the device from the vehicle in order to get information. These kinds of devices also have a much longer battery life because they transmit information to a satellite immediately instead of storing it on the system. An active vehicle tracking device also gives you the ability to confront your spouse whenever you feel is the best time, with immediate information about your spouse’s most recent actions. However, this kind of device is more expensive, because there is a monthly cost for the transmitting and receiving of information.

No matter which kind of vehicle tracking device is right for your situation, you can have the answers to your troubling questions and be able to confront your spouse about his or her infidelity.
