Brazilian lingerie designer Lucia Lorio (LindeLucy Lingerie) has designed a new line of sheer lingerie entitled “Find Me If You Can.” While seemingly simple lingerie, every item in this line includes a GPS tracker.
GPS & Lingerie
The idea behind the lingerie line is to allow women to entice their men allowing certain suitors to track their whereabouts around the clock via computer. Each GPS tracker in this collection comes with a unique password that women can choose to give, or not, to certain men. In addition, the owner of the lingerie can turn the tracker on and off as she chooses.
While some view this new line from LindeLucy as a way for obsessive men to track their girlfriends, others see the romantic possibilities of using a GPS tracking device attached to slinky lingerie – suddenly the concept of foreplay has been stepped up a notch. In fact, that’s exactly what Lorio had in mind when the line of silky sheers was invented.
She believes that her new line “…is a wink to women and a challenge to men because, even if she gives him the password to her GPS, she can always turn it off (NY Daily News).” Still, the new line is causing women and men around the globe to wonder if a tracking device attached to expensive ($1000+) lingerie is going too far.
