Namco Bandai Takes GPS Navigation to a New Level

Posted on August 1, 2011 in GPS Tracking, GPS Tracking Devices, GPS Tracking News | by Admin

The Japanese company Namco Bandai has recently created a GPS navigation app that’s unlike any other we’ve ever seen before. This app takes travelers through a virtual warzone where battles ensue and obstacles must be crossed – all while making one’s way towards a destination. Japanese characters appear on an iPhone screen while a user is driving, walking, or cycling to a specific spot.

Users who download the Gundum Navi app will get to watch characters blow things up and fight each other while traveling. Namco Bandai claims that this app is not a distraction, but it, instead, an enjoyable way for travelers to use GPS navigation technology.

There’s no word yet as to whether or not the Gundum Navi app will be available in countries outside of Japan, but so far Japanese users are enjoy every minute of the innovative app.
