GPS Device Mistaken for a Bomb

Posted on November 15, 2011 in Car Tracking, GPS Tracking News, News | by Admin

William Sachiti had quite the scare upon noticing a flashing red light under his car.  Upon further inspection, the GPS tracking device a private investigator had attached to his Lexus was at first mistaken for a bomb.

His wife, Dr. Diletta Bianchini, hired the PI to follow Sachiti as she feared his odd hours were in fact a sign of an affair.  “At first I didn’t know what to do,” Sachiti said of the discovery of the device.  “I called a friend and they were concerned it could be something dangerous.  So I went straight away to the police station.”

Officers proceeded to cordon off the area to eliminate the possibility of someone getting hurt, and brought in the bomb squad.  London Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service also responded, but were soon called off, as was the bomb squad, when authorities were told by Dr. Bianchini herself that it was not a bomb at all.

And what of Sachiti’s feelings for his wife?  “I’m going to stick with her because I can’t be bothered with the drama.  She’s apologized profusely again and again.  She’s my wife and I love her.  In time, I’m sure we’ll both be laughing about it.”
