Its 45-foot transmission range to the GPS receiver gives the driver a clear view of what is behind the vehicle. The image is displayed on the Magellan LCD screen whenever the vehicle is in reverse, and then the unit automatically switches back to the map view once the vehicle is out of reverse. The camera attaches to the top screws of the license plate and can be adjusted up to 45º for a horizontal view of 120º and a vertical view of 100º. The camera is both dust-proof and water-proof, guaranteeing a clear picture of what is behind the vehicle, including children, pets, and toys.
