Can you trust your spouse? We would all like to be able to answer “yes” without hesitation, but unfortunately, sometimes that’s just not the case. A recent Reader’s Digest poll found that nearly 40% of Americans admitted to lying to their spouses about their whereabouts. That’s a shockingly high percentage. Trust is the best foundation for any relationship and lack of trust can cause marriages to crumble. Sometimes, all a spouse needs to change behavior is a gentle encouragement to remember and keep promises.
