The PT-200 personal GPS tracking device from Rocky Mountain Tracking is the smallest of all the GPS locator devices in the world. Measuring only 3.31" x 1.75" x 1", this is the ideal device for most personal GPS tracking needs.
The PT-200 can be used covertly to track via GPS the movements of vehicles driven by teens without risk of these portable GPS devices being discovered if you do not want the people in the car to know they are being tracked. They can also be easily hidden in an out of the way location so that thieves are less likely to locate and remove them. This makes vehicles safer because the GPS locator devices can be used to alert police to the car's location and aid in recovery.
Unique among personal GPS tracking devices, the PT-200 can be used in a wide variety of ways. It is even possible to order these portable GPS devices installed in a pouch on a dog collar for the purpose of tracking a pet with GPS technology when traveling across country. The software that drives the PT-200 is capable of being set up to provide real time tracking of valuable assets and people. It can also be set for passive monitoring to see where the asset is located at a given instant. GPS data can be obtained from any computer with an active internet connection.
These GPS locator devices make use of a rechargeable battery and come with a wall charger. Depending on which battery is chosen and how often these personal GPS devices are set to update the GPS data log, batteries will last from 10 to 21 days under continual use.
