Automatic Updates (Locates)

You can set each device to report on any locating frequency, but the standard maximum frequency is 30 seconds. These locates will occur automatically for you to view live or at anytime within 1 year. You can change the update frequency at any time from your account.

Request Locate

Polling shows the current position of your vehicle. One locate is used each time the command is sent.

Rapid Tracking

When you turn on the Rapid Tracking feature, the map will refresh every 30 seconds and keep the tracked vehicle within the current map view. You must also set your device on 30 second update intervals. You will be able to watch real-time movement of the vehicle. One locate is used each time the update occurs.

Geofencing

Reports each time your asset moves in or out of a predetermined area from 2 meters to and infinite distance. These geo-fences are rectangular with reporting based upon whether the device is inside or outside the geo-fence area or when it has simply crossed the geo-fence boundary. When Geo-Fence is enabled your vehicle will send an email or an SMS message to advise you that the Geo-Fence boundary has been crossed.

Speed Alerts

When the threshold is broken, the unit reports speed and position of the vehicle.

Vehicle Routing

Route your nearest vehicle to any destination with turn-by-turn directions. Choose an address and the software will quickly find the closest vehicle to that address. The vehicle can be routed by the fastest route or the shortest distance.

Full Color Reports & Graphs

Fleet managers may utilize NavIQ reports to quickly identify improper use of company property through the comprehensive Risk Management Report. This report highlights weekend and after-hours usage, shows which drivers are routinely exceeding set speed limits, and helps identify excessive idling. Other reports include: Current Fleet Status, Daily/Weekly activity, Trips and Stops by Vehicle or by Group, and Device Usage.

Satellite Imagery

Utilize Virtual Earth's satellite and "Birds Eye" views for more accurate tracking.

History Storage

Your tracking history will be stored onsite in our servers for one year.

The number of available locates is displayed within your account.

History Reports and Maps

Review history reports with complete and detailed activity, including: Date, Time, Location, Speed, Stops, Stop Times, Stop Duration, Stop Locations, Stops by Vehicle, Trips by Vehicle, Idol Times, Heading, Latitude, Longitude, Altitude, Battery Level, Alerts, Excessive Speed, Geo-fence, and Ignition states. History reports are viewed parallel to the mapping history. Each event on the history report can be selected and you will be taken directly to that position on the map without leaving the history page.

Mapping

The functionality of the maps allow for easy navigation, such as, zoom in / out with mouse wheel or map controls, and grab and drag the map or pan with mouse or by using the map controls.

Custom reporting - Using our “Hybrid-Web” technology, new reports can be created and made available without requiring a software update.
