Monthly Service Plans

Terms of Service: We are your direct provider with support and service for your satellite tracking device. Monthly service plans can be upgraded or downgraded at any time upon written request, effective on the next monthly cycle. A one year contract must be signed by the customer prior to account access, which can be faxed to our office. An activation fee of $35 each may be waived for large quantity orders. If an account is terminated early, there would be a $100 early termination fee. Overages are billed at $0.20 per location update.

Product Application Notes: The RMT Watchdog has capabilities unique to the RMT family of product offerings, in that no wiring or external power source is required. The unit uses a direct satellite connection, not dependent on a gprs (cellular) connection. Battery life can be as long 6 years or more, depending on the frequency of location reports. ***

Important: Because of the Watchdog's efficient, one-way communication, your configuration preferences are set before the unit is shipped and can only be changed by RMT or a qualified RMT Watchdog technician. Please take special care in choosing your service plan. Additionaly, polling (requesting a non-scheduled locate), speed and heading are not a feature of this device. *** Estimated Battery Life

These numbers assume the unit operating the majority of its life at 25C (77F). Extended use in extreme temperatures (outside -30 to +60 Celsius; -22 to +140 Fahrenheit) can significantly shorten battery life. The 10% GPS fail column assumes that the GPS acquire attempts failed to have clear view of the sky and searched for max time and retried once.

These numbers corresponds to a digital input in Normally Open alarm type. Using the unit for Normally Closed alarm applications may decrease slightly the battery life due to additional current required for weak pull-ups of alarms.
