Tracking
Features
Request
Locate:
Locate commands update the current position
of your vehicle. One locate is used each time
the command is sent.
Auto
Track:
When your vehicle is placed in the Auto Track
feature, the device will send a location of
the vehicle once per that duration when the
vehicle is in motion. For example, if you
set Auto Track to 30 minutes, the vehicle
will provide its location at 30-minute intervals
while the vehicle is in motion. One locate
is used each time the update occurs.
Night Owl Command:
Business Hours refers to the typical working
day of you or your business. If you select
this function remember that if you have selected
"Geo-Fence" or "Motion Detect Alarms" to be
sent, you will receive emails and SMS messages
for any violation that occur outside of the
Business Hours setting. If you select "Off"
for business hours only alarms that are triggered
by the vehicles alarm system are sent to you.
Group Commands:
Group commands are typically
used for fleet or lot management when the
same command is sent to the entire fleet versus
individual commands to individual vehicles.
A group command sends the same command simultaneously
to all of the vehicles that belong to the
same end user. Group Commands are selected
individually and then sent to all vehicles
as a group. The following commands can be
sent via "Group Command:" Speed Trap, Set
Business Hours, Locate, and Geo-Fence.
Geo-fence:
Reports
each time your asset moves in or out of a
predetermined area from 1/8th of a mile to
300 miles. Up to 2 geo fences can be set at
one time. These geo-fences can be either rectangular
or circular with reporting based upon whether
the device is inside or outside the geo-fence
area or when it has simply crossed the geo-fence
boundary. When Geo-Fence is enabled your vehicle
will send an email or an SMS message to advise
you that the Geo-Fence boundary has been crossed.
Business hours can be set to enforce when
the messages are sent.
Speed Trap:
When the threshold is broken for 10 seconds,
the unit reports speed and position of the
vehicle. A dead band of 10 percent below the
threshold is established when the threshold
is exceeded. The speed has to be below the
lower limit for one poll period.
Locates
Available:
The
number of available locates is displayed within
your account. Locates can be shared with all
of your vehicles.
History
Reports and Maps:
Review
history reports with complete and detailed
activity, including: Date, Time, Location,
Speed, Heading, Latitude, Longitude, Altitude,
Battery Level, Alerts, Excessive Speed, Geo-fence,
Ignition, and Status Codes. History reports
are viewed parallel to the mapping history.
Each event on the history report can be selected
and you will be taken directly to that position
on the map without leaving the history page.
Mapping:
Choose
from three different maps to view: Road Map,
Aerial Map, & Bird's Eye View Map. The functionality
of the maps allow for easy navigation, such
as, zoom in / out with mouse wheel or map
controls, and grab and drag the map or pan
with mouse or by using the map controls.
Transaction
Logs:
Transaction
logs report status codes, such as, battery
level, GPS fix, Ignition, geo-fence, trigger
types, and all tracking history.
