Service Plan Options
A user account is set up when the device is purchased. The Smart Tracker can be activated at any time from the user account by choosing an activation plan. When the activation plan expires, the device goes inactive until the plan is reactivated. The eliminates on-going monthly fees and allows an easy pay-per-use tracking system. Pricing applies to the U.S. ONLY. Additional service fees will be applied for use in Canada. Please ask a sales consultant for details.

Installation
The Smart Tracker is commonly installed under the dash. The installation typically requires only 2 wires to be connected. For your convenience, we have more than 1700 GPS Tracking Installers nationwide.
Terms of Service
The Smart Tracker has NO activation fees. We are your direct provider for support and service. Activation plans and additional locates can be obtained online at any time.

Anti Theft System
The Smart Tracker is not only designed for vehicle recovery. It has become very popular for theft prevention of heavy equipment; such as, skid steers, tractors, backhoes, landscape loaders, excavators, generators, compressors, wheel loaders, dozers, lifts, and trenchers. The Smart Tracker can also be used for theft prevention and recovery of ATV's, snowmobiles, motorcycles, etc.
Auto theft is on the rise in the U.S. A vehicle is stolen about every 20 seconds. An anti theft device such as an alarm system and most theft prevention tips will not stop car theft. In most cases, people are unalarmed by car alarms because many go off without a break-in. Some alarms shut off as soon as the door is closed. Even if an alarm does grab the attention of those around the vehicle, most people are not willing to risk their life to stop the criminal in the act, and in fact you shouldn't. What you should do is alert the police with a call on your cell phone if you can make the call discreetly. You wouldn't want to put yourself in harms way to make the call.
According to the FBI 2004 Uniform Crime Report, only 63% of stolen vehicles were recovered. Auto theft will happen, and a FAST recovery is the only solution to protecting your assets. Vehicles that are not recovered immediately are usually chopped up in pieces or taken on a joy ride or wrecked at the owner's expense. GPS tracking with engine shut-off gives the vehicle owner the ability to disable the starter from any computer.
